"AH-HAAA" MOMENT #1
I have an idea for a new site/blog…
Title: Teacher Features
Idea: The site/blog will be broken down into 5 sectiions based on the ideas presented in the "NCSS Five Features of Powerful Teaching and Learning". Although the five features outlined in this document are social science specific, i believe the features can be applied and adapted to all content areas. They are as follows: Meaningful, Integrative, Value-based, Challenging, and Active. After I create statements to go along with each of the features, I am going to finally put to use the hundreds of teacher resources I have compiled over the last few years by grouping them by subject under each of the features. At least, I am going to attempt to.

BELIEVE IT.
I think it's about time i find a faith. it's never been a priority of mine, nor an interest...but for some reason i have a desire to find a religion/spirituality i can truly connect with, believe in and turn to in times of need. I'm a strong person, but i'm wise enough now to know that there are times when even the strongest, most sane and put together people need a shoulder to cry on, a friend to lean on, or a higher power to pray to.

HE'S BAAA-AAACK.
Matt called tonight...out of nowhere. Why, after almost 8 months, does this boy dial me up at 1:30 am? Obviously, he hasn't changed...he's still crazy as ever.
It was one phone call I didn't even hesitate and think to answer. There's no way in hell that boy is ever going to weasel his way back in to my life. His attempt only brings one word to mind...EW.
