Gomez effectively utilizes this form of power, and in effect, sparks the curiosity of those who peruse his site...and leaves them with a craving to know more...about both him, and his art.

LISTEN UP :: Magnetic Man Whips It Up.
Hmmm...I don't know what Magnetic Man (a.k.a. Benga, Artwork, and Skream) was thinking when they decided to turn Willow Smith's Pop/RnB tune, "Whip My Hair," into what sounds like, in my opinion, a Darth Vader impersonator spittin' rhymes over a chopped and screwed electro track. Give this one a listen below and then post a comment! I am curious to know what others think about this track...

A Tokyo artist combines man-made design with aquatic creatures for a series of vibrant displays of science...
Calling upon his experience as a fisherman, Tomita continues to maintain a rapport with the fishing community by bartering his assistance in exchange for new marine creatures. Depending on its size, the process averages between four and six months to create each specimen, which are like a psychedelic version of Danish artist Stefan Dam's gorgeously creepy organisms.
Recently exhibited at Design Festa in Tokyo and celebrated at the Tokyo Institute of Technology's Makezine event, Tomita's work will soon be on display again at the "Tokyo Mineral Show" from 10-13 December 2011 at Sunshine City.

Magda Sayeg, founder of KnittaPlease, began by taking knitting out of the home and into the streets. The simple juxtaposition of this woven material placed within an urban environment has inspired a new generation of knitters who no longer view function as the sole purpose for knitting. This new approach to knitting questions the assumptions of a traditional craft while adding a previously unused material to the world of street art.
When Magda Sayeg began KnittaPlease in 2005, it was her response to the dehumanizing qualities of an urban environment. By inserting handmade art in a landscape of concrete and steel, she adds a human quality that otherwise rarely exists. KnittaPlease represents the present energy coming from knitting and more extensively weaving, while giving a nod to its powerful history.
