I have an idea for a new site/blog…
Title: Teacher Features
Idea: The site/blog will be broken down into 5 sectiions based on the ideas presented in the "NCSS Five Features of Powerful Teaching and Learning". Although the five features outlined in this document are social science specific, i believe the features can be applied and adapted to all content areas. They are as follows: Meaningful, Integrative, Value-based, Challenging, and Active. After I create statements to go along with each of the features, I am going to finally put to use the hundreds of teacher resources I have compiled over the last few years by grouping them by subject under each of the features.
